Welcome!  My name is Chengming Zhang, a Chinese international student. I am an industrial design major and focus on product design. This is my second year here in SFSU. I was a movie montage and economics major when I was in Community College. Later, I incidentally took a design class at a community college and met a professor who influenced my life. His name is Donald Barrie. In his class, he discovered my talent for art and encouraged me to transfer my major from Economics (that I didn't really like before) to Design. I had never in touch any drawing and painting before. In addition to design, I also like pets, especially cats. I have raised a cat in China for 7 years. I have a cat in the United States with my former roommate for 3 years. For me, the cat can heal the soul.  As a product designer, I hope that I can design my favorite furniture and kitchenware in the future. Therefore, I like to visit a variety of interior design and Furniture stores when I am free....
